What is Auto Team America?
Auto Team America (ATA) is a network of eleven CPA firms serving over 2,000 dealerships nationwide (see http://autoteamcpa.com/ for more info). Auto Team America membership is restricted to firms with over 30 dealership clients. This provides an extensive reference base, allowing the firms to concentrate on the specific issues pertinent to dealership operations.
What is the purpose of the ATA CEO/CFO FORUM?
ATA CEO/CFO Forum was designed to bring a wide variety of timely educational programming to dealers, strategies and perspectives which can assist them in their day-to-day operations. Past topics have included private equity, industry innovation, regulation compliance, employee retention and team building, information security, industry forecasts, franchise relations, and fraud prevention, among others. The Forum enhances the NADA experience, and in past years has drawn between 200 and 400 dealers, general managers and industry executives from across the US and Canada.
With an industry seeing some positive signs ahead,
there’s one question all dealers are asking: How can
my dealership position itself on the way up?
Consolidation, industry bailouts, dealership closings,
and the changing priorities of the American consumer
have re-made the auto industry during these times
of financial turmoil. How can you prepare for the
challenges and take advantage of the opportunities?
Our featured speakers are Joe Herman, Erich J.
Merkel, and David L. Zuchowski. Joe Herman of Kuni
Automotive, is an industry insider who will provide
insights on automotive dealership management
strategies. Erich J. Merkel is a product strategy
communicator at Ford Motor Company. David L.
Zuchowski of Hyundai Motor America will offer his
perspective from the manufacturer’s side. Following
their presentations, a panel of experts, moderated by
Jay Ferriero, will share their perspectives on today’s
auto business. We are thrilled to welcome panelists
including David G. Braun of Comerica Bank, Michael
Bruynesteyn of Strauss Capital, Richard N. Sox, Jr. of
Bass Sox Mercer, and others yet to be named.
